WWE Smackdown TV viewership: How did Smackdown the SummerSlam go-home show perform?

Friday's WWE Smackdown averaged 2.4 million viewers, down from the 2.49 million viewers the previous week, according to Zap2It.com.

Powell's POV: There were four preseason NFL games on Friday night, which was half the number Smackdown faced the week before. There was no NFL competition on cable, though, as FOX had the national game. We hope to have the actual rating later today.
