WWE Smackdown TV viewership: Did the big numbers from Old School Raw carry over to Smackdown?

Friday's WWE Smackdown averaged 2.816 million viewers, up from the 2.616 million viewers the previous week, according to Zap2It.com.

Powell's POV: The college football bowl season has concluded, which can only help Smackdown. Last week's show went up against the Orange Bowl, which explains the number being down. Viewership was way up for Old School Raw, but it didn't really carry over to Smackdown, as the number is actually down from the 2.852 million mark that Smackdown reached for the final broadcast of 2013. We hope to have the actual rating later today.
