WWE Smackdown TV rating: A big increase for Friday's show

Friday's WWE Smackdown television show drew a 2.11 rating, up from the 1.82 rating drawn the previous week. Smackdown averaged 2.99 million viewers, as noted earlier today.

Powell's POV: This was the second highest rated Smackdown of 2013, as it topped the 2.09 rating the show did two weeks ago. The viewership didn't increase substantially from last week, though. It's an impressive rating considering that WWE was going up against March Madness college basketball games on four networks.
