Dot Net reader Mike attended the WWE Royal Rumble in Atlanta, Ga. on Sunday and passed along the following report.

The seats were full to the maximum, with the usual taped up seats behind the Titantron. Lots of DX and John Cena merchandise being sold at the stands with everyone wearing it. Not as many little kids as you would think for a show.

Ezekiel Jackson vs. Christian Big pop for Christian with many fans holding signs for him. Very little to no reaction for Big Zeke which I was surprised. A few botched moves from time to time got people around me laughing. Quality opener.

The Miz vs. MVP: This match caught everyone off guard, which no one was expecting we would see. Pretty good seven-minute match. MVP actually got some minor heat after attacking the Miz post-match.

Mickie James vs. Michelle McCool: Bathroom break match. I saw a lot of fans getting up and walking to get refreshments.

Sheamus vs. Randy Orton: Big heat for Sheamus. Massive pop for Orton. A loud "Sheamus sucks" chant broke throughout the crowd once or twice. Cody Rhodes caught the eyes of people, as many people didn't see him come out. Not to bad of a match, though.

Undertaker vs. Mysterio: Very good match in what I think was the best actual match of the night. No one in the crowd was expecting two 619's and everyone was going crazy when Taker had him ready for the Last Ride.

Royal Rumble Match: Better than last years lousy Rumble match. I was loving C.M Punk's speech. Everyone else was booing him. Massive pop for Triple H when he entered, as everyone knew it was Punk's time to go. Massive pop for Triple H when he threw out Punk. HBK didn't get as big of a pop as Triple H did but pretty decent. Very shocked as was the crowd when HBK superkicked HHH out the ring. Pretty cool moment.

Big pop for Cena. Mainly little kids cheering and many adults booing. Once getting from entrants #25 - #30, many fans started standing up for last entrances. 5..4..3..2..1 "You think you know me!" Unbelievable reaction. Edge was the outstanding moment of the night. Everyone from little kids to adults were cheering. Once down to the final two, many people around me were worried if Edge would have missed Cena sending him out of the ring. Best moment of the night when Edge won.

Very good PPV event from my perspective and would recommend anyone if they have a chance to go to a WWE Live Event to definitely make plans for that day.

Biggest Pops Most Heat
1. Edge 1. Sheamus
2. Triple H 2. C.M. Punk
3. Cena/HBK/Orton 3. Miz
4. Undertaker 4. Chris Jericho
5. C.M. Punk (Elimination) 5. Batista
