WWE drew a 3.7 rating during it's traditional two-hour time slot on Monday. The overall rating with the additional hour factored in was a 3.4 rating. The first hour of the show drew a 2.8 rating, while the second hour did a 3.5, and the final hour did a 4.0. Last week's show did a 3.3 rating, and the week before drew a 3.0 rating, so the draft clearly helped WWE's cause.
Powell's POV: The big question now is whether the extra viewers who tuned in on Monday were impressed enough with the product to come back. As I've mentioned, I enjoyed the overall show and the draft exceeded my expectations, but the Vince McMahon stunt felt like a repeat. I thought it was a mistake to deliver a fresh show for three hours and then send viewers away with what appears to be a watered down version of the limo angle.
