WWE Raw rating: How did Raw perform against the most watched event in the history of cable television?

Monday's WWE Raw television show drew a 3.1 rating with an average of 4.6 million viewers. The first hour scored a 3.0 rating with 4.54 million viewers, and the second hour produced a 3.1 rating with 4.65 million viewers.

Powell's POV: I still wonder what type of rating the show would have produced if they had opted to hype or tease the appearance of Shawn Michaels rather than go the surprise route. Obviously, the college football game hurt Raw, as the game produced a cable record 27.3 million viewers for ESPN.
