WWE Raw rating: Another drop from last week's lousy number

Monday's pre-taped edition of WWE Raw drew a 2.7 cable rating (with a 2.37 household rating), which is down from last week's 2.8 cable rating.

Powell's POV: WWE took another hit this week. Yes, the fall season has started for the networks and there was a highly rated Monday Night Football game, but it's not like WWE doesn't battle both at this time every year.

Perhaps this will be just the motivation that WWE needs to shake things up and abandon the formula approach they've been taking for so long. Furthermore, I wonder if the poorly rated Raws and what I assume will be poor selling pay-per-views will make the company think twice about holding two pay-per-views in October next year.
