There was a huge pop for Jerry Lawler when the broadcast team was introduced prior to Raw.

The audio of the mic shots that Brad Maddox took to the head from Randy Orton were quite intense in the arena.

Brad Maddox was taken out on a stretcher during the commercial.

In the dark main event, John Cena defeated Alberto Del Rio to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. A tame and uneventful match.
