WWE Raw TV rating: Final numbers for the August 26 edition

Monday's WWE Raw scored a 3.07 rating, down from the 3.24 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, Raw averaged 4.19 million viewers, down from the 4.298 million viewers from last week.

Powell's POV: Raw did not have to go against NFL preseason games, nor will next week's Labor Day edition of Raw. It's the calm before the storm, though, as ESPN will have its annual NFL doubleheader on September 9 and will then have Monday Night Football games for the 15 weeks that follow. It will be very interesting to see how the three hour Raw shows hold up against MNF this year. In the meantime, WWE has to be pleased with all three hours topping four million viewers, yet somewhat disappointed that the rating dropped as much as it did.
