WWE Raw TV rating: Big hype and media attention leads to similar rating compared to last week

Monday's WWE Raw television show drew a 3.46 rating, up from the 3.3 rating the show drew the week before. Raw averaged 4.7 million viewers, as noted earlier today.

Powell's POV: WWE advertised C.M. Punk vs. John Cena, and a fight involving Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman a week out. They also had Undertaker work a house show match over the weekend, which led to a lot of online speculation that he would return this week. Plus, they drew mainstream attention for the Zeb Colter and Glenn Beck controversy. Despite all of this, the rating and the viewership was only up slightly compared to last week. It's a decent number, though WWE officials may be slightly disappointed considering the extra effort that went into promoting it.
