WWE News: Wrestler makes Sports Illustrated "Twitter 100" list

WWE wrestler Zack Ryder was the only pro wrestler listed on the Sports Illustrated "Twitter 100" list. The list was complied by 50 S.I. staffers who use Twitter. "Professional wrestling's first 'Internet Champion' has used social media to become one of WWE's fastest-rising stars," reads the caption. You can view the full list at SportsIllustrated.cnn.com.

Powell's POV: One of the fastest-rising stars in WWE? As much as I wish that was the case, I think the S.I. crew needs to spend less time on Twitter and more time watching WWE television programming. I really hope Ryder's growing popularity leads to a real push at some point. At the very least, I hope to see this pop up on a WWE "Did You Know" graphic.
