WWE wrestler William Regal teased that he will be retiring soon during his appearance at the WWE Raw show in London. Dot Net reader Colin James reports: "After a Triple Threat match between R-Truth, Regal, and Bryan Danielson for the U.S. Title, Regal stayed in the ring and announced that this would be his last ever tour and thanked the fans for supporting him during his 27 years as a wrestler. He got slightly emotional. After his speech, he received a massive round of applause from everyone. I presume he won't be in WWE much longer as a wrestler."

Powell's POV: Regal is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world. He never got the push he deserved in WWE, although he was in the midst of a strong push when he failed a Wellness test while working as the Raw general manager and King of the Ring. Here's hoping that WWE sends him off in style, as I think he and the fans would enjoy a program with his protege Daniel Bryan.
