WWE star Glenn Jacobs (a/k/a Kane) told TNReport that he will not run for the U.S. Senate in 2014. He was previously rumored to be interested in running for the 2014 GOP U.S. Senate nomination. However, he still has issues with Senator Lamar Alexander.

"It was interesting to me that Sen. Alexander didn’t talk about his actual job," Jacobs stated, "which is supporting, defending the U.S. Constitution. Instead he talked about all of the great things that he had done, which were all really big government things.

"And, of course this is a philosophical question, and some people are going to say, well, those are important things, and they are. But his primary job is to defend and support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. That didn’t make it into his letter." Read the full story at TNReport.com.

Powell's POV: Kane noted that he does intend to become more involved in state and local politics. It wouldn't surprise anyone if he opted to run for office once his WWE career concludes. However, it became rather obvious that he would not be running in 2014 once it was announced that he would be starring in the "See No Evil" sequel.
