Advertising with WWE is the focus of a Media Life Magazine story. It includes Scarborough Research which indicates that 22 percent of wrestling fans are under age 18; 23 percent are ages 18-34; 25 percent are 35-49; and 30 percent are 50 or older. WWE reports that 60 percent of their demographic is male, and 40 percent female. To read the full story, visit MediaLifeMagazine.com.
Powell's POV: WWE has only connected with 22 percent of the audience that they have targeted as part of the PG switch. Some will see this as proof that WWE should revert to Attitude Era style programming. As much as I enjoyed that content, I think it's also important for WWE to connect with the young fans.
