WWE News: WWE to hold first show in China

WWE issued a press release on Tuesday to announce that they will be holding their first show in China on Aug. 22. "WWE is honored that the Chinese government and Expo 2010 Shanghai have offered us this rare, historic opportunity to perform at the successful Shanghai World Expo," Vince McMahon stated in a press release. "We are thankful to be allowed to entertain the attendees and our fans in the region at Expo 2010 Shanghai."

Powell's POV: The 90-minute show will be held at the 8,000-seat Expo Cultural Center and is called 'WWE Raw Presents SummerSlam." The company will be one of 15 shows performing on the main stage. Getting into China was one of Shane McMahon's projects when he was with the company.
