WWE announced a new 18-book deal over the next three years with DK Publishing. The deal will include " two upcoming commemorative books WWE 50: Celebrating 50 Years of Sports Entertainment, which chronicles the company's 50 year history and 30 Years of WrestleMania, the ultimate guide to WWE’s annual pop-culture extravaganza." There will also be a "new line of children’s books focusing on the careers of John Cena, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and other top WWE Superstars." Shore's Slant: A nice get for WWE and while I won't ever buy any of these books, the market does seem sufficiently big enough for this to be a nice extra, but not crucial, revenue stream. Also no, I will not be encouraging my kids to read the John Cena kid's book. Maybe Rock's though.
