WWE announced on 3/22 that they are extending their relationship with Vivendi Entertainment, and as part of the deal, Wal-Mart will be the exclusive retailer for WWE Studios’ films. The deal will allow Wal-Mart, Sam's Clubs and Wal-Mart.com the exclusive right to sell DVD and Blu-ray versions of the films for the first 90 days of release. The deal is for the next five films and runs through 2012. The new Triple H vehicle "The Chaperone" is the first movie of the deal.

Shore's Slant: Considering that WWE Studio films basically go straight to DVD I'm not sure how this helps WWE by limiting their outlets. Granted Wal-Mart is everywhere, but I would think you would want as many options available as possible, especially in the first 90 days, but what do I know. I wonder how K-Mart feels about the deal they signed with WWE in light of this.
