WWE issued a statement to the Motley Fool website in which the company expressed confidence in the WWE Network's ability to stream WrestleMania 30. "Notwithstanding the overwhelmingly positive response to WWE Network, we want to ensure subscribers have the highest-quality experience watching WrestleMania 30 and all our programming, and thus have put in place significant quality assurances," WWE stated.

"These steps include increased capacity to handle high volumes of transactions, logins, and concurrent live streams, daily 'stress' testing of all systems over an extended period, and the addition of technology experts to review our plan and procedures. We're confident that we'll be ready on Sunday, April 6." Read the full story at Fool.com/investing/general/2014/03/15/will-the-wwe-network-be-ready-for-wrestlemania.aspx.

Powell's POV: It's encouraging to hear WWE express this level of confidence, but only time will tell whether they can handle the load. It's uncharted territory for live streaming. I'm waiting to decide whether to order the event via traditional pay-per-view or simply watch it on the network. If there are any glitches throughout WrestleMania weekend, then it becomes an easy decision as much as I hate to part with the extra money.
