The AP is reporting that WWE and Martha Hart, widow of the late Owen Hart, have settled a lawsuit filed by Hart over royalties earned over the use of her late husband's image and name. No details were given on the settlement. You can read the report via the Washington Post at http://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/conn-wrestling-conglomerate-widow-of-performer-settle-lawsuit-over-use-of-name-likeness/2013/04/03/1be40318-9c9b-11e2-9219-51eb8387e8f1_story.html.

Shore's Slant: I doubt this means we see Owen in next year's Hall of Fame class, but it's nice to se this suit, which was filed in 2010, has been settled. Hopefully this is the first step on the road to healing the rift between WWE and Martha Hart so that Owen can get the recognition he deserves.
