WWE News: Update on injured WWE Diva (Smackdown non-match spoiler)

As reported by Dot Net reader Jeff Ahern who sent in Smackdown Spoilers, Michelle McCool is indeed injured. She just tweeted that she is suffering from a "broken toe, torn mcl in foot, torn joint capsule & swelling in bone." She also said that Layla has a "hard head" so the injury may have happened in a "friendly fire" spot.

Shore's Slant: Normally when one of your most athletic workers goes down you panic. But seeing as how no one watches the Divas anyway, they won't even know she's gone! In all seriousness, this sounds like a few weeks off rather than a few months and it may help in the long run by keeping her fresh for what I think could be a money feud with Awesome Kong.
