WWE News: The name of the new WWE television show revealed

The show that will replace "ECW on Syfy" will be "WWE NXT," according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, who also reports that the name stands for "Next Generation."

Powell's POV: It sounds like WWE is going for a new concept in which they will feature younger wrestlers exclusively on the Tuesday night show. They were still toying with the idea of going with show that would feature conspiratorial storylines over the last couple months, but apparently the NXT concept won out. As much as I hated the way Vince McMahon made the announcement last night, I am looking forward to seeing the new concept play out "in three weeks time."
