WWE Smackdown will likely be a live show when it debuts on Syfy network on Oct. 1. The show will take place in Oklahoma City at the Ford Center. It's currently billed as a SuperShow featuring wrestlers from both brands. [Thanks to Devin Cutting of ProwrestlingEvents.tk.]
Powell's POV: The 6:45 p.m. start time is generally reserved for television events, so it appears WWE intends to kick off the move to Syfy with a live event featuring wrestlers from both brands. Meanwhile, the event that was originally scheduled for July 2 in Oklahoma City has been cancelled, but tickets for that show will be honored at the Oct. 1 event.
