WWE News: The Rock scheduled for surgery

WWE star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced that he will be undergoing surgery. "Saw my (doctor) who had push my intestines back (through) the tear in my abdomen," Rock wrote. "Kinda romantic. Surgery is next week. #BringItOn." Follow him online at Twitter.com/TheRock.

Powell's POV: Rock noted last week that there were five weeks until the shooting of Hercules begins. I assume he will be recovered from the surgery in time for the shoot, but it will make training for the role difficult. One also has to wonder whether the injury will make him think twice about getting back in the ring again.
