Marketing magazine Ad Age has named WWE executive Stephanie McMahon as one of their "40 Under 40" marketing leaders. McMahon is quoted as saying she started learning the business as a kid in creative meetings, "pretending to be not listening, but I was. It's just really what I've always wanted to do." Shore's Slant: Congratulations are due to Stephanie, but I'm a little confused as to how running creative of a television product makes you a superstar in marketing. I didn't read through the other 39 honorees, but it would seem to me that any lead writer of any TV show could be honored for this if she can.
