Recently suspended WWE star Sin Cara sat down with Mexican wrestling site Record Luchas and discussed his violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. The following is a translation of the interview from Dot Net member Ernie Cruz [Thanks Ernie!]:

"Thanks for the support everyone's giving me (the fans). I know I'm not a drug addict, much less putting stuff in my body. I don't know what could've happen. Apparently it was the medication. We're going to wait to see what happens, because I don't have a big body to be using steroids. If it had been for drugs, they would have fired me.

"Tomorrow (today) they told me we would be meeting. This affects me, but the WWE hasn't told me anything bad. What happened is I had a pain in my knee and they injected something into me. That's what must have tested positive. Supposedly it was a steroid. A lot of medications have something them that make the testing come out positive.

"These are injections we normally use in Mexico. The pain has been in my knee and it's the same knee that's been giving me problems. That's what made it positive. In Mexico I was told if they did a thorough testing it would test positive, but it's nothing else bad.

"Because of the company policy there has to be a penalty. I found out that I would be having a meeting with WWE tomorrow (today). They told me not to worry it won't affect me and nothing will happen and that's what I wanted to know. Tomorrow (today) we will talk and we'll know what happens.

Shore's Slant: Sin Cara is right about not having the body of a steroid user, but I can't imagine a legitimate shot causing a suspension. I can see it causing a positive test result, but if it was a legitimate injection from a legitimate doctor for a legitimate injury, I cannot imagine WWE would suspend him. Maybe I'm too cynical, but I don't think so in this case.
