WWE star Sheamus has a torn labrum in his left shoulder that will require surgery, according to the WWE website. The injury will keep him sidelined from four to six months. "I’ve never in my whole life had to have surgery,” Sheamus told WWE.com. “I’ve always worked through pain.

"For the first time in four years, I’m going to be out of action. To say I’m devastated would be a serious understatement, but I’m determined to take this time to go home to Ireland to see my family, to see my friends, learn a different language, read a lot of books, and come back bigger, stronger and better than ever."

Powell's POV: Sheamaus suffered the injury during the Money in the Bank match last month. He also came out of that match with with a left thigh injury. Surgery is scheduled for next week. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery. Thanks to Dot Net readers Cameron and Brad for passing along the story.
