WWE News: Santino Marella injured in a car accident

WWE star Santino Marella suffered a separated left shoulder in an automobile accident on Thursday in Toronto. "My car flipped sideways and the trunk hit a light pole, it completely crushed in," Marella told the WWE website. "The airbags deployed, and all I could smell was gunpowder.

"There was broken glass everywhere, and I tried to open the passenger door, but it was stuck. Luckily, there was still power in the car. I opened the sunroof and crawled out." To read the full story, visit WWE.com.

Powell's POV: Marella was driving home from his barber's shop when he was hit by another vehicle. The story notes that the other driver remained at the scene until police arrived.
