WWE News: Royal Rumble early buy estimate

WWE released early estimate figures for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event showing 498,000 buys. 322,000 buys are listed as domestic, and 176,000 are international buys.

Powell's POV: The 2012 Royal Rumble drew 443,000 buys, and the event did 446,000 buys in 2011. I thought there was a chance they would top 500,000 buys this time around for the first Rock vs. C.M. Punk match combined with the Rumble and it looks like they will at least approach that milestone.
