WWE News: Rock's says he will need therapy for WrestleMania injury

WWE star The Rock tweeted out a pic of himself hitting the Rock Bottom on John Cena at WrestleMania 29 and pointed at that to be the moment when he "pulled [his] abdominal and abductor tendons from the bone." Rock tweeted a thank you to the team of doctors at the University of Miami who treated him and added, "Rehab starts in 3..2.. #bringit" You can see the tweet at https://twitter.com/TheRock/status/321988467749965824.

Shore's Slant: Not for nothing, but you can see a little bit of "WTF!" in Rock's face in the picture. How bad he is hurt remains to be seen, but taking Rock at his word, you have to wonder what this means for WrestleMania 30. Whatever story they were going to tell can always be told at a later date, that's not the concern, but how many production companies are going to feel good about Rock coming back and opening himself up for another, and potentially worse, injury? If Hollywood gets jittery about this, you have to expect Rock to dump wrestling at that point. It's just basic math.
