WWE News: Ric Flair's pep talk addressed during NFL Network pre-game show

The NFL Network's "GameDay Morning" show featured a segment on the pep talk that Ric Flair delivered to the San Francisco 49ers the night before their playoff win over the Green Bay Packers. A portion of the speech was shown and then former NFL coach Steve Mariucci stated that Flair looked great. Mariucci set up a piece on motivational speeches delivered by various NFL coaches.

Powell's POV: The NFL Network crew stayed away from the controversy the speech produced with Flair's hometown Carolina Panthers and the team's fans. There was also no mention of the warrant that Flair has out for his arrest in North Carolina for not paying his estranged wife more than $32,000 in spousal support. Rather, the former players turned hosts downplayed the impact that game day speeches had on them.
