WWE News: Randy Orton reportedly injured at the Smackdown taping (no spoilers)

The WWE website is reporting that Randy Orton suffered a cervical strain and cervical neuropraxia at the Smackdown taping in Providence, R.I. on Tuesday. Read their update at WWE.com

Powell's POV: Orton worked the television main event against Alberto Del Rio and then stuck around for the six-man tag dark main event. Dot Net staffer Zack Zimmerman attended the taping and did not make note of anything out of the ordinary with Orton. For that matter, there was no injury angle done in front of the live crowd.

Update: Zack noted that Orton did not tag in during the dark main event but he hit an RKO as part of the finish of the match. "Thinking back, he was definitely off by the end of the show," Zack wrote.
