WWE News: Powerful WWE ally becomes more powerful

Powell's POV: Hammer has been a major ally for WWE over the years and is credited with leading WWE to become more of a male soap opera. "She just came in and rolled up her sleeves," Vince McMahon told the New York Times in 2011. "She taught us a lot about network quality writing, story arcs, character development. She really helped the overall brand." Obviously, Hammer's continued climb up the NBCU ladder has to be viewed as good news for WWE.
