WWE has released Michael Tarver and Jacob Novack, according to Mike Johnson of PWinsider.com. The duo was released over the weekend. Tarver all but confirmed the news on his Twitter page over the weekend by changing his account to his real name.

"Michael Tarver belongs to WWE," he wrote. "Tyrone Evans xB2.0x belongs to GOD and I'm about to attack... God Help Us... stay tuned." Follow him on Twitter at Twitter.com/TyroneEvansB20.

Powell's POV: Tarver was an original member of Nexus. He had a good look and was a nice fit in the group, but he was very green and didn't seem to show a lot of progression in the ring. Meanwhile, Novack was bland on NXT, and he was awful in the Slam Master J-like character he portrayed on the current season. WWE has yet to confirm the releases, although I have no clue where they would actually put such info with their latest web design.
