WWE News: Official statement on original Sin Cara's status

WWE issued the following statement to Prowrestling.net regarding the status of Luis Ignascio Urive Alvirde, who plays the Sin Cara character.

"The original performer behind the Sin Cara mask remains under contract to WWE.  WWE will continue to invest in the character and retain it as part of WWE programming."

Powell's POV: The part of Sin Cara was played by Hunico on Monday. Meanwhile, Alvirde, who previously wrestled as Mistico, Tweeted during Raw that he was in Mexico.
