WWE News: NXT rebranded, tapings moving to Florida

WWE is moving the NXT television show tapings to Winter Park, Fla. at Full Sail University. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported the news on Friday and WWE has since confirmed the move. The first taping of "WWE Superstar Showdown" takes place on Thursday. They are advertising Triple H, Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio, and Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. Epico and Primo for the WWE Tag Titles for the first show.

Powell's POV: It looks like WWE is finally going to breathe some new life into the tired NXT concept. It is believed that WWE made the move so that more developmental wrestlers can appear on the show. Given the rebranding, it will be interesting to see if WWE has a new television partner for the show in the United States.
