WWE News: Major developmental shakeup

WWE told the Bright House Sports network that they are folding Florida Championship Wrestling, according to Dave Meltzer of the F4WOnline.com. WWE officials are planning to move the developmental wrestlers to Stamford, Connecticut.

Powell's POV: This was a surprising move even to some people within WWE. I reached out to sources within the company earlier tonight during Raw when word to started to spread that this move was in the works. At the time, sources indicated that they were unaware that it was happening. Triple H has been planning to overhaul the developmental system for well over a year now, but I had not heard of any talk of FCW shutting down until Monday night. This could make life difficult on the developmental talent if they are required to relocate to Stamford on short notice.
