WWE News: Main Event listed for live airing on WWE Network

WWE is advertising a live airing of the WWE Main Event television show for Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. CT. The caption on the network's schedule page for "WWE Main Event Live" reads "WWE Main Event features incredible in-ring action from the WWE Superstars and Divas of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night Smackdown." Powell's POV: The show is still listed for the usual Wednesday night slot on ION Network. It's hard to say at this point whether it's a one-off because the network schedule for the following Tuesday is not updated. Given the issues that occurred during the live broadcast of NXT Arrival, I think it makes sense for WWE to test their live streaming capabilities as much as possible before WrestleMania 30. However, it's unclear whether the contract with ION Network allows this or if the network gave its blessing.
