WWE star John Cena spoke with the Arizona Central website and was asked whether the Royal Rumble is a big deal. "Absolute," Cena replied. "It doesn't matter what you've done. Winning the Royal Rumble is as big an accomplishment as anything."

Cena was asked whether "these kind of events" are fun for him. "Believe it or not, I like the Rumble," he said. "It's extremely unpredictable and over-the-top. Everyone in the WWE universe looks forward to it. It becomes that one event each year where people center around."

Cena was asked whether he's rooting for CM Punk or The Rock. "I'm torn," he said. "CM Punk has been champion for quite a long time now, but I know from my past instances with Dwayne Johnson that he's very difficult to beat."

It was noted that Cena and Rock's in-ring relationship isn't always smooth, and he was asked whether those kind of grudges carry over out of the ring. "A lot more than people would think," said Cena. "People think it's one big happy family, but attitude and egos do get in the way." Read the full interview at AZCentral.com.

Powell's POV: Cena also discussed his Make-A-Wish Foundation work and whether it chokes him up, how he stays grounded, and his current interest making music. Thanks to Dot Net Member Efren for passing it along.
