WWE News: John Cena thanked by Daytona International Speedway officials, new grand marshalls

Daytona International Speedway officials thanked John Cena via Twitter for his "commitment to the Daytona 500." The Daytona International Twitter site also announced that Leonard and Eddie Wood will serve as the grand marshalls for the race.

Powell's POV: Cena did his best to make good on his commitment to serve as the honorary starter, but Mother Nature didn't cooperate by postponing the race twice. Cena noted earlier today that he had to catch a flight to Raw and would not be able to start the race as scheduled. He was also given the grand marshall role when the celebrities who were slated to play that role left due to the weather.
