WWE News: John Cena confirms that he's getting married soon, comments on his next movie role

John Cena appeared on the Bubba The Love Sponge radio show on Sirius satellite radio (Howard 101) and confirmed that he's getting married. Cena said he will be marrying his high school sweetheart soon, but did not list the date. When Bubba gave him a hard time about this being another example of Cena being perfect, Cena responded: "I've got a good gig, man. Why would I screw it up."

Cena also noted that he's looking over movie scripts and hopes to shoot something this fall. He said the audience is changing because of the move to PG programming. He said he wants to do a PG movie so that all his fans can see the film. [Thanks to Dot Net reader Agahzi]

Powell's POV: Congrats to Cena on the pending nuptials. As for the the film career, Cena didn't sound like he had anything in the works, so scratch the reports that he will be taking time off to work on another movie this summer. Cena also noted that Undertaker runs the locker room, and hyped the release of 12 Rounds on DVD for June 30.
