WWE star John Cena posted a note on Twitter in which he indicated he's been fired by WWE. "I have just been 'future endeavored,' Cena wrote. "Well, if that's how it is I would like to take a moment to publicly apologize to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

"In an effort to make WM28 as big as possible, I tried to expose Rock for his flaws. Very childish and immature on my behalf. My comments about The Rock's absence were both unprofessional and childish. I am sorry, Rock.

I truly wish and still hope in my heart of hearts that the crazy old man who is the boss reconsiders his rash decision. Because Chicago was insane last night, and it made me think of what Miami could have been. I guess sometimes you do not know what you have until it is lost." Powell's POV: I can't believe they're going through with the firing story. They'll have to send Cena home for weeks, even months before the casual fans will believe it. If nothing else, it should create even more interest in tonight's Raw, which is clearly one of the most important shows the company has produced in recent memory.

Cena apologizing to Rock is an interesting twist. Is this a sign that some feelings were hurt by their verbal exchanges or perhaps that there were too many insults being exchanged and not enough was being done to build each other up heading into their dream match. Cena may still be tweeting. We'll update this story if he continues to play up the story line on Twitter.
