WWE News: Jack Swagger's trial date for DUI set

WWE star Jack Swagger is scheduled for his first court date on June 25 for charges stemming from his arrest for DUI on February 19 after leaving a Smackdown taping in Mississippi according to http://www.sunherald.com/2013/04/10/4584321/wrestler-jack-swagger-set-for.html. The Sun Hearld story states that city prosecutor Kirk Clark "always recommends the maximum sentence of two days in jail for first-time offenders and completion of victim-impact classes."

Shore's Slant: Do note that the prosecutor always asks for that sentence. That doesn't mean he always gets it. The story also says DUI defendants are usually required to appear. I sincerely doubt Swagger does any jail time, but you never know. The wrong judge having a bad day could lead to anything.
