WWE News: Friday's Smackdown television main event

It was announced at the WWE Smackdown taping in Toledo, Ohio that the main event of the taping will be Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes in a champion vs. champion match.

Powell's POV: Champion vs. champion matches don't have the same appeal they did at one time, but that doesn't mean WWE couldn't have made it out to be a big television main event with some advertising on Raw. Instead, they teased nothing for Smackdown despite having several wrestlers from the Friday night show on Raw. Dot Net correspondent D.J.
