WWE News: Filming for the next John Cena movie is underway, details on the plot and genre

Production of the WWE Studios film Blood Brothers starring John Cena has begun in New Mexico. Cena plays a character named "Sam" and his brothers Leo and Douglas are played by Ethan Embry and Boyd Holbrook respectively.

"Sam and Leo have grown up hating each other and neither likes their juvenile delinquent kid brother, Douglas, to whom they’ve only recently been introduced," reads an online description.

"The sons share the same father, a womanizing drunk, but all have different mothers. Their father died a rich man and when they’re brought together by their sister Nina (played by Amy Smart) to learn which of them will inherit the old man’s fortune, they are handed an unpleasant surprise." Powell's POV: The movie is labeled as an action-adventure flick, and is being directed by WWE Studios vice president Michael Pavone. There's no word yet on whether WWE will be paranoid enough to change the name of the movie because it includes the word "blood," let alone which theaters will be "privileged enough" to show the film.
