The Fight Network's "Survival of the Hitman" documentary on Bret Hart is now available online. The documentary runs nearly two hours and features exclusive comments from Hart, his brothers, Lance Storm, former WWE employee Carl DeMarco, Jeff Marek, and others. You can watch all four parts of the documentary at Youtube.com.

Powell's POV: I've only had time to watch the first two parts of the documentary and I can already recommend it. I was exhausted late last night and only intended to watch a minute or two of the documentary just to get a feel for it. Roughly 45 minutes later, I had to force myself to turn off the laptop at 3:00 a.m. instead of watching the third part.

The documentary feels like a great companion piece for Bret's book, and there's some excellent footage from the Stampede Wrestling days and behind the scenes in WWE. It was cool to see the footage of a younger Vince Russo in the background of one scene. In one of the more interesting interview clips, Bruce Hart took the side of Vince McMahon when it came to the Montreal screwjob. Longtime fans will love it, and the documentary will serve as a great recap of Bret's career and the Montreal screwjob for younger fans who weren't watching when Bret was at his peak.
