Edge addressed his recovery from a torn achilles tendon during an interview with Play3-Live.com. "I'm doing stairs on it now," Edge said. "I started therapy. I'm on the long road to getting back. I'm on the road now. Before I wasn't even on the road. I had crutches and I was in a cast, but now I can I can actually do some things like walk again and I can wear shoes."
Edge was asked whether he'll be able to return next year. "It will definitely be next year," Edge said. "It won't be anytime before next year. I would love to come back in time for WrestleMania and earlier, but it's too soon to tell. It's been four months. They said six months, so who knows." To watch the video, visit Play3-live.com. Powell's POV: Edge is in France to promote the WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010 video game. The bulk of the interview features Edge discussing the game and commenting on which wrestlers are fans of the game. He also endorsed the idea of Big Show replacing him in the tag team with Chris Jericho, and said he might have to go through Show to get to Jericho when he returns.
