WWE News: ECW wrestler moved to Raw (updated)

Sheamus was moved from ECW to the WWE Raw program on Monday night. He was introduced with a video package and then defeated Jamie Noble in his debut match.

Powell's POV: The announcers didn't offer any explanation for why Sheamus was allowed to jump brands from a storyline standpoint. I guess that's just a Vintage WWE Storyline Gap! For what it's worth, Sheamus is still listed on the ECW roster page on the WWE website.

Update: Dot Net reader Andrae Jones wrote to say that Michael Cole stated during the show that Sheamus was a free agent. This is further proof of how well I've learned to zone out Cole.
