WWE wrestler Dolph Ziggler suffered a concussion during a match against Ryback that was taped for WWE Superstars on Monday. "Unfortunately Dolph sustained a concussion during his match on the clothesline given to him by Ryback,” WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann told WWE.com.
"We were able to evaluate him in the ring; he was having some confusion and disorientation. We took him back to the training room and confirmed a concussion. He’s currently feeling better but we’ll proceed with ImPACT testing and further evaluation to determine when we can get him back in the ring." Read the official statement at WWE.com
Powell's POV: We received a report from Dot Net reader Adam Kelso that Ziggler was having issues during the match and that the referee threw up the X symbol. Ziggler recently stated in an interview that his last concussion gave him enough issues that he feared at one point that he may not be able to return to the ring.
