WWE Smackdown Rating: Did the live USA version of Smackdown do better than previous live episodes?

WWE Smackdown earned a 2.29 rating for the live special that aired Tuesday night. The show averaged 3.331 million viewers, making it the 4th most watched show on Cable. The rating is an increase over the 1.74 it earned last week in the normal time slot on SyFy, and a significant increase over the 1.52 the show earned for its last live Tuesday special on November 6.

Shore's Slant: Big numbers for Smackdown. I wonder how much of it is Tuesday, how much is the hype on Raw, and how much is it being on USA. It's a little of all three, but I wonder which made the biggest difference.
