WWE wrestler David Otunga returned to his legal background on Thursday by representing a man who believes he was wrongfully terminated and denied unemployment benefits. Otunga served as the man's legal representation in his appeal to the New York State Department of Labor.
Otunga's client won the appeal and will now receive unemployment benefits. "If the outcome of the case is any indication of how I'll do in the Royal Rumble this weekend, then it looks like I'll be the winner," Otunga said. For more on the story, visit TMZ.com.
Powell's POV: The story notes that Otunga took the case pro bono, meaning he received U2 concert tickets...or something like that. Seriously, the guy deserves credit for taking on the case without compensation and for being wise enough to work in the Royal Rumble plug.
